About Water's Edge Camping Outlet
Located outside of St. Louis, Missouri, our company offers high quality camping equipment at great prices. Our customers include: small retailers around the USA, scout troops and individuals who can buy at our retail outlet store located in Washington, Missouri (pictured to the left). We primarily offer reconditioned tents but from time-to-time can offer factory seconds and first quality "close out" inventory at deeply discounted prices.
What is a reconditioned tent?
We are the return center for a large tent manufacturer. Each year we receive over 12,000 tent returns from retailers around the country. We thoroughly inspect each tent return making repairs as necessary. We save the tents that were not used in the field, had very minor or no repairs at all to be sold through our web site. As such we can offer "reconditioned" tents in excellent condition at significant savings!! Go to our Reconditioning Process page to learn more about our inspection and repair operation. Do these tents come with a warranty?
We guarantee that any item you purchase from us has been thoroughly inspected, cleaned up, and is in fully functional condition. While we are unable to sell these items with the manufacturer's original warranty, if you have a problem with your purchase we will correct it. What is your return policy?
While we guarantee all items to be in fully functional condition, as a true "Outlet" we generally do not accept returns. In certain circumstances we will accept unopened returns for credit. All other returns would be subject to an inspection fee of 15% of the purchase price. All returns must be pre-approved.
